D'Angelo who recently released his third studio album Black Messiah last month. Last night he was the guest performer on Saturday Night Live. He performed "Really Love" off the aforementioned album, backed by his live band - including John Blackwell (of Prince & The New Power Generation fame). D'Angelo & The Vanguards also performed "The Charade".
