LeBron James To Opt Out Of Contract With Miami Heat

LeBron James will exercise his Early Termination Option with the Miami Heat and become an unrestricted free agent. LeBron’s deadline was June 30th but ESPN’s Chris Broussard recently broke the news from LeBron’s agent, Rich Paul, that LeBron will opt out, six days before his deadline.

“@Chris_Broussard LeBron James’ agent Rich Paul has told Heat LeBron will exercise early termination option”

LeBron will now join Carmelo Anthony at the top of the free agent list this summer and teams have been lining up for years waiting for the moment LeBron ends his contract with the Heat. Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James are free agents at the same time for the first time. The Miami Heat, New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers are all early front runners to land the two all-stars. Will the idea of joining forces, which they’ve had since high school, come to fruition? Only time will tell.

I'm thinking if Lebron James don't stay in Miami, him and Carmelo Anthony will join forces on a team together.
