Paramount Pictures and director Michael Bay decided to build anticipation by releasing a 30-second trailer short and sweet — “prepare for extinction,” the titles has a jam-packed action sequences typical of Michael Bay and the franchise itself.
‘Transformers: Age Of Extinction’ Trailer Released During Superbowl
This is Mark Wahlberg‘s first Transformer debut to the franchise, taking over the lead spot from Shia LaBeouf, who starred in the first three Transformers movies.
Despite Shia’s recent reputation for being difficult, Michael Bay told Inquirer.net that the decision to cast Mark as the lead was purely about the story, that “he was going to stop doing Transformers after doing three—because it’s hard to make a fourth movie with the same characters.”
